In this example package, the first frontal camera captures a wide angle shot and records the environment directly in front of the vehicle. This is suitable to record traffic stops and pursuits. The second frontal camera is a fixed zoom 25mm camera capable of capturing license plates on vehicles up to 30 yards ahead of you. The third camera featured in this package records the backseat. It has night vision IR LEDs for a clear picture day or night. This camera also has a microphone to capture conversation. |

Pocket CameraThe VSS pocket cam can be worn on a shirt or vest pocket to capture both audio and visual exchanges between an officer and whoever they are talking to. The VSS pocket cam works independent of the cruiser surveillance system. No transmitter or receiver are necessary. A micro SD card captures the audio and visual footage, which can be loaded on to a computer through a USB adapter or computer media reader. |
