Shipping
Orders are shipped after processing typically the same day they’re submitted between the hours of 7:00am - 12:00pm Monday - Thursday and between 7:00am - 11:00am Fridays (Central US Time). Orders made after the cut off time will be shipped the next business day. Shipping methods and costs vary depending on your location.
Order processing can take up to 48 hours after purchase but typically process within a few hours. UPS & Speedy Delivery are our primary methods of shipping. If VSS uses other means of shipment, we will notify you. International (or non North American) orders will be sent by UPS Worldwide Shipping.
Privacy
VSS takes your right to privacy and data security very seriously. VSS will not share any information you provide with any third party. Information you provide will be strictly used to ensure you with the best possible service.
Return Policy
"The VSS 30 Day Return"
VSS offers a 30 day return policy on certain items to insure you are covered beyond the ordering process and have a chance to test product for satisfaction. Damaged or altered products do not qualify for the 30 day return policy and must be submitted through the VSS RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process.
Your order MUST be pre-approved for "The VSS 30 Day Return" and must be written on your purchase order. We only offer "The VSS 30 Day Return" when you purchase directly from VSS over the phone (1-800-331-8764) or from our home office and not through a reseller of VSS products.
RMA Policy
When returning product to VSS, you must first contact VSS to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number from our customer service department at 1-800-331-8764. The following information is required in order to complete the RMA request:
Billing name
Billing address
Shipping name
Shipping address
Phone number
Part number
Purchase number
A brief description of the problem that is occurring with the product(s) to be returned.
All requests are processed within 48 hours. For customers that agree to return defective products to VSS, a standard replacement option is available.
When the defective product is received, VSS at its own discretion will either repair or replace the product and ship it out in the most expeditious manner possible.
After obtaining an RMA number from VSS, you must send the product (freight prepaid) to:

Shipping is reimbursed for damaged or defective products only. A shipping label will be emailed to you after your RMA has been processed.
The RMA number must be prominently placed on the outside of the package or VSS reserves the right to return the package to the sender unopened.
Please use a shipping company that can demonstrate proof of delivery. VSS does not accept responsibility for any lost shipments unless proof of delivery to VSS is provided.
Product shipped to VSS must be properly packaged to prevent loss or damage in transit.
Shipping your RMA to VSS using regular mailing envelopes is not acceptable, as they do not protect the product from damage during shipping.
VSS will not repair or replace a module that is shipped in such a way that the product is not properly protected.
VSS will not accept any product that has been damaged as a result of accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassemble, repair or modification.

Video Surveillance Solutions Product Warranty
Video Surveillance Solutions will repair or replace any merchandise proven to have a manufacturers defect for a period of one year from your invoice date.
Return of Product(s) for repair or replacement unless installed by Video Surveillance Solutions must be done through our RMA process, which can be found online at:

Repairs made necessary by reason of misuse, alteration, normal wear and tear (natural deterioration with normal usage), accident, damaged by programs, data, viruses, files, or act of nature are not covered under this warranty. Video Surveillance Solutions assumes no risk and shall be subject to no liability for damages or loss resulting from the specific use or application made of the Product(s).
Video Surveillance Solutions liability for any claim, whether based on breach of contract, negligence, infringement of any rights of any party or product liability relating to the Product(s) shall not exceed the price paid by the customer to Video Surveillance Solutions for such Product(s). In no event will Video Surveillance Solutions be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of use, loss of profit, and claims of third parties) however caused, whether by the negligence of Video Surveillance Solutions or otherwise.
Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) have no warranty unless purchased with an Uninterrupted Power Source (UPS) for the protection against power surge or unexpected shutdown that may result in damage to its hard drives or operating system.
Video Surveillance Solutions Installation Warranty Amendment
(For Product(s) installed by Video Surveillance Solutions)
Video Surveillance Solutions will repair or replace any merchandise proven to have been damaged as a result of installation workmanship for a period of one year from your invoice date. The Video Surveillance Solutions installer will make recommendations for placement and location of Product(s). If the customer requests placement and location that contradicts the installer recommendations, or has moved Product(s) to a location that results in damage, this warranty is void and Video Surveillance Solutions is not responsible for reinstallation or product replacement in any way.
This installation warranty is in no way a service agreement, and Video Surveillance Solutions is not responsible for maintenance or upkeep of said Product(s).
